This guy was going to charge me $300 for leaf blowing and a low maintenance gardening service when my old gardener who I've used previously 135.00 I understand if it's slightly higher than 135 but man 300 it's highway robbery when the going rate in my area is in the low 100-175

We hired Javier after reading all the good reviews he had on yelp.He came to give us an estimate the same day we called him.He was very puntual and his quality of work is impressive.He transformed our yard and exceded our expectations.We are very happy to continue working with him to maintain our yard.Photos before and after.

Javier's very nice and responded back quickly to my initial call. He provided yard clean up for my front yard that has a number of California native shrubs. He's a great guy and obviously listened closely to what I wanted because he did exactly what I asked, and at a great price too! There was a lot to be done and he did a fantastic job! He also has great rates for monthly maintenance. I later called him back for clean up on our backyard. We had a huge overgrown jasmine hedge, very overgrown Cecile Bruner rose bush, overgrown lemon tree, and a bunch of dead rose bushes in addition to general weeds and overgrown grass. Javier came in with his crew and they hit all the major projects I had in mind, carefully trimmed back a specialty native vine, and got all the general yard clean up done as well. It was a lot of work! They did a thorough job for an excellent price! For big projects, I give them 5 stars! But for maintenance, I have to give them 3 stars. There's a general lack of communication and the work hasn't been consistent. I'm never sure what day they're coming. They don't call or text ahead to let me know. Since our backyard is locked up, it matters so that I can leave the gate open. The maintenance work itself has been a bit uneven- sometimes too aggressive on some of my native plants, not aggressive enough on our rosemary bush and driveway hedge. I haven't worked with Javier for any new landscaping, so I can't review that aspect.

We hired Javier to do some clean up in our front and back yards and he did a beautiful job. So great, in fact, that we hired him to come and do weekly maintenance for us. He is friendly, he promptly replies to my questions, and has very reasonable rates. We would definitely recommend his services.
