Laguna Clara Apartments

my experience so far is similar to NG's. this place has a lot of oriental cockroaches. you could literally see them crawling in the patio, trying to make their way in. It seems that the second floor is better. avoid ground floor if you can. I have informed management earlier. To solve this issue ASAP, I have set up some defense by myself (bait, spray) and it seems working.

Been living here for little over a month and writing a honest review that would be helpful for future movers. PROS: - Spacious newly renovated interior. I believe I was the first one moving in ever since the renovation and the interior was clean with just minor scratches here and there that the Leasing office already took notes of - Pretty responsive maintenance (may not come immediately but usually comes within 3-4 business days) - Responsive Leasing Office and the staff are helpful and friendly - Safe location, good access to the freeway, and many grocery stores near by - White countertops and kitchen cabinets were a plus for me and it looks more modern and clean CONS: - Insanely weak sound proof.. This is actually really bad. I live on the first floor and perhaps this can be resolved if you live on the second floor. But the ceiling sound proof is just nonexistent and I can hear every footstep so loud and clear and I can even hear them flushing their toilets and sliding closet doors sometimes.. even though the interiors were renovated, the building itself was built in the 70s so the walls must be really thin. I can also hear people having conservations while passing by my bedroom and sometimes the ducks can be obnoxiously loud in the morning - Insects come out pretty often and I've seen two huge cockroaches within a month and there are soooo many flies by the stairs. So I have to go through them every time I walk in and out of the apartment. Again, this also can be resolved if you live on the second floor lol so please avoid the first floor - Pretty much nonexistent guest parking - The neighborhood is under construction so no gyms or any communal space. They say the construction is to be done by October so hope that is true! The construction itself is not a huge bother though

We moved in two weeks ago. Our experience with the leasing office, the management, and even the maintenance team has been sublime. Theyve been very responsive and helpful for the smallest stuff since we moved in. Special shoutout to Alex in the leasing office and Pam (Community Manager). Community has some construction/landscaping going on but is otherwise a great place to live. Our unit is far enough from the construction so we dont hear too much noise. Great from a safety standpoint too. We havent heard of any package theft or vehicle break-in issues from any neighbors so far. Were glad we moved in here.

Alex, Jamil, and Pam have all been fabulous! From application, to move in, to getting settled in, they have gone above and beyond to make sure were comfortable in our new home and everything is working properly. Thank you so much!
