    I wish that I could give them 0 stars! We're literally dealing with a supposed plumber being sent over, and claiming the most ridiculous scenario as being the cause, and that we would need a carpenter to help remove one of the garage overhead fluorescent lights because that's where he believes is the location of the cause of the upstairs toilets water coming from underneath the wall in the garage below. Well let me tell you something R J Carroll. Today the real problem was fixed in 2 hours expertly, and efficiently by a real veteran plumber who knew exactly what to do as soon as he heard what the problem was. I noticed that you have some real rotten reviews, and I definitely sympathize with them. My biggest regret was not checking your company out thoroughly before having you come over. Since 1930? Time to permenantly close shop!

    We needed to have our back flow prevention tested and RJ Carroll was a recommendation from the Santa Barbra.gov website. I called and spoke to the receptionist to schedule an appointment and emailed her pictures of our testing card. She could not schedule the test for some reason but said someone would get right back to me. Four days later I still hadn't heard from them so I texted them and they said someone would get right back to me. Five days later,  no call back. I called a different company and they scheduled my appointment for the following week. Horrible customer service. I'm glad it wasn't an emergency.

    Paid $860.50 to stop a toilet from leaking. My husband was the one who finally fixed it.I called specifically about the following matters: one toilet backing up too frequently, another toilet leaking, and a sink faucet leaking. While there, the plumber did something which was supposed to help stop the toilet from stopping up. He told us he could not fix the sink without a replacing a valve which he didn't have. Did he go get this valve and come back? NO. He turned down the water pressure and said it would help. He looked at the second toilet which was leaking, simply told my husband how he should go about fixing it, and he left. BTW, I was the client that made the call, not the man in my house. But instead of checking in with the CLIENT, which was me, he just left. And the toilet KEPT overflowing after his visit. THANKS FOR This USELESS visit cost me $212 --- what a huge waste of my money and time.I called AGAIN hoping to get all the things fixed that I had originally called your company for, given that first plumber had fixed NOTHING. This time second plumber came. He did actually stop the toilets from overflowing - which was his only success. He tried to stop the other toilet from leaking by adding a second seal, which failed. GUESS WHAT? My husband watched a YouTube video, paid $20 for a kit to rebuilt the whole interior (all in 30 minutes, including the video); now it works perfectly, with no leaking at all!Both plumbers told me I needed to BUY a new toilet, and the second one was only too happy to coordinate and do that work for me. Oh, and my SINK faucet now leaks faster than EVER. Then second plumber told us the water pressure was too high, and turned it down (which had been turned up by first plumber the previous week - seriously?). Then, while I was trying to work on my computer (you know, for my job), he spent nearly 30 minutes trying to upsell me on new toilets and a new sink/vanity and how skilled and happy he would be do the work for me. Yes, he was quite a talker. I was billed for those 30 minutes. They charged me $50 to listen to him try and sell me things I did not want or need.I called the office manager, explaining this situation, she told me she would talk to "someone" and get back to me. NOPE, no one reached out to me.  I still received bills that were at the full, original price in the original statements. I was a customer for 12 years.
