Dr. Chris is INCREDIBLE! She is kind, supportive, and so knowledgable about the pelvic floor and birthing peoples' experiences. I am so grateful to have had her on my pregnancy and postpartum support team and will always think fondly of my visits to her office during that time. I began seeing Dr. Chris for urinary incontinence during pregnancy and we quickly addressed that issue. She then supported me with modifying my workouts during pregnancy and giving me tools to support labor. At six weeks postpartum, I returned to her office and she supported me with how to move my body after birth. What I loved most about the exercises is that Dr. Chris weaves them into the movements we as birthing people are already doing on a daily basis, so it never felt like anything extra. I learned SO much about my body and the pelvic floor from Dr. Chris. And she always saw me as a human before seeing me as a patient. She was an emotional support when postpartum got tough. At one point I thought about stopping my appointments because I was worried about finances and didn't know if we could afford it. If that's a concern for you, I'd encourage you to seek out her online course as a more affordable option. In the end, I was so glad that I chose not to abandon my care with her because I think the short-term costs will have long-lasting benefits for my body and overall physical health.

I have loved the help I have received at Pieton physical therapy. Not only are they knowledge and professional, they are warm and encouraging, bringing awareness to my whole being rather than just the body part I am struggling with at any given moment. They are also happy to help me maintain my active lifestyle during recovery which has been huge for my mental health as I work on bodily health.

I dont even know where to begin! Dr. Christine is amazing. At 19 weeks pregnant I was told by my doctor I would probably end up with a walker by the end of my pregnancy because of the extreme pelvic pain I was having. I started pelvic floor therapy right away and within two weeks I was already almost pain-free. Dr. Christine helped me while I was pregnant but also helped me with prepping for labor. Because of Dr. Christine, I was able to continue working on my feet every day and working out for the duration of my pregnancy. Now postpartum I am going to her as well to make sure my pelvic floor stays strong! If there is one thing, I could recommend to every women, it is to get pelvic floor therapy!

Dr. Chris is an expert in her field and knows her stuff! She is so empathetic and stress-free; she works with you throughout your injury/postpartum period to create an amazing custom plan to get you moving in your new body. Im a first responder and a first time mom. I had a terrible SI joint injury from birth that left me walking with a walker. Dr. Chris got me going from walking with a walker postpartum at 8 weeks to running and lifting PRs in the gym at 6 months postpartum. Going back full duty, I knew there was a lot to manage. Dr. Chris made it so I didnt have to worry about my body performing. I brought my son to my visits and she was so kind and friendly with him too. This is the kind of person you want on your team!
