This morning (7-2-23), I went to return a $6.13 item, for store credit and was denied by some lady, who kept quoting the return policy and suggested maybe I had bought the item at Target store.
I paid with cash and didn't have a receipt to prove otherwise and have never have asked for cvs store credit before..., and I "WAS" a regular customer for that cvs location; up until today. I shopped there numerous times.
Had to go to another CVS nearby in Santa Barbara where the manager there was more than happy to offer me a $6.13 store (credit) gift card.
The CVS service in Monticeto on Coast Village road is lacking. I even called CVS customer service and will discuss this with the District and Regional Mger too. This experience was beyond ridiculous. She was just plain mean. Maybe she was having a bad day; I don't know
(Went back there this afternoon and in fairness, the gentleman (employee) that works at this location is very nice. He recognized me right away, as a regular customer).
