I made an appointment for 5:15 pm on a Friday. I work in Oxnard and left work early to make sure I arrived on time. I arrived at 4:50 pm. I wasn't called back until 5:30. They then told me there wasn't enough time to do the procedure. They asked me to return the next morning at 8:45 am. I arrived at 8:30. It's 9:25 am and the medical personnel responsible for my procedure is still not here. I find it disgusting that patients are treated this way. I understand this is a neighborhood medical center that serves the underserved but they should hold themselves to the same standards as those of a private practice. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of service. Do better.

I go here often enough, about 3-4x month. I have good experiences. My wait time is usually low, but on occasion its a little long, but not excessive, and NOT every time. They get seasonally busy just like an autoshop would, so people need to relax on wait times. Overall, I get my needs met: paperwork sorted, prescriptions sent, billing sorted, bloodwork, and they do a good job of explaining test results, and my teeth fixed next door too! When you need to see four different health professionals almost every month, its nice to have it all under one roof. I dont have to go all over the place. They also have Telehealth options. They speak Spanish and English. They see kids and adults. Bad reviews are hilarious though. Most of them are super old anyway, so dont let that scare you. They are a busy clinic, but everyone there does their job.

The workers there are the worst, I had to wait 25 minutes for a payment, they are very pushy, just talking about their lives, who cares about their private life?

After years of having a good doctor and good care, I've been ghosted my the practice. No calls are returned. No messages in their online portal returned. I even wrote physical letters that are unanswered. Totally stood up by a behavioral health worker that they set up an appointment with a month prior. It has now been another month out and I do not know why my appointment was not honored. I just wanted to know why and to reschedule. I have ongoing health issues and now I need to find a new doctor and start all over again. I will say the nurses are very good but I can't even get through to them now. I am not high maintenance but just trying to take care of my health. I don't know who I pissed off but having a doctor is a service. I am paying for that service. They are not doing me a favor by seeing me . And being stood up by a behavioral health practioner with no explanation is unconscionable. It is like kicking someone when they are already down
