My partner and I recently moved to Santa Barbara from the Northeast (via Palm Springs). Our back yard was a blank slate after house renovations. We needed a design that would give us privacy, be sustainable and also beautiful. While we have gardened in Northeast, being new to SB, we didnt really know the plants or the environment to design an entire garden. We selected Billy based on on-line reviews, and couldnt be happier with the result. Billy is very knowledgeable, open to all suggestions, practical about garden use (privacy, entertaining, etc.) and maintenance. Most importantly he spent time understanding our vision for the garden and gave us a beautiful design. While he didnt manage the garden construction he was quite involved. Especially appreciated his help with alternatives when some key plants werent available. The last thing I will say is that he is a nice guy as well.

Billy has great ideas, and is willing to help with any size landscape design job. He'll limit his services to brainstorming with you, or do a full detailed plan for an installer to use. He's also a lot of fun!

We had a complete landscape design created for our front and back yard. He listened to our desired vision and worked with us to create a beautiful visual, along with being drought tolerant. Very personable style and his knowledge of plants and the environment were very key to the success of the overall result. Thank you, Billy! Can't wait to see what it all looks like in the coming years as it all grows in :)

Love Billy and his humor, and his ability to transform a blah garden with a so, so, lawn and some tired shrubs and trees, into a tropical, water saving environment, with lush grasses, cordylines and succulents, all with color and sustainability, and very low maintenance.
