I booked at this hotel, thinking it was across the beach at the Monte Mar Hotel. I showed up at Hotel Montel Mar and they were kind and willing to transfer my reservation as it was still a Hyatt hotel. The property manager called Steven and he refused to cancel, was being rude and would not let me change my reservation or transfer and charged me for a night I never even stayed. To top it all off they did not even have the hotel I booked, and could not have even satisfied what I needed but yet he would not cancel, and let me go to another Hyatt property. Poor customer service by Steve

Terrible experience! Dont recommend staying here.
The room I stayed in has water coming out from the floor. Ive never experienced this with any other hotels before. They should never sell defect rooms like this to customers. Its literally cheating. When we mentioned this to the cleaning lady, they didnt seem surprised, just kept apologizing. I believe theyre aware of this condition. They charge $335 for this room.
Hotel charges $10 per night for underground parking.
Paper plates and plastic eating utensils provided for breakfast. Not environmental friendly.
I wonder why this hotel bears a Hyatt name.

This hotel is perfectly located and the rooms are beautiful. I felt compelled to write this review as the morning of our stay we saw bed bugs crawling on the bed. I took videos and photos to show the front desk and asked to move us to another room for our 2nd day. The did not accommodate and further implied that the guests were bringing the bugs and refused to move us. We checked out and reached out to Expedia for a refund.
