        Our hotel in Santa Barbara was the Best Western Plus. This is a larger complex consisting of several two-story houses. The facilities are a bit above average: all windows have fly screens and can be opened, everyone has a small balcony with seating, there is a washroom and a caf/restaurant is on site. Many of the lights in our room flickered ever so slightly and the main light switch was not in use. There are also no ceiling lights. The drain in the bathroom smelled stale. Otherwise everything was clean. It was very quiet in the hotel. Everyone was nice.

        This is a very nice hotel in a very safe part of town, and its very close to the downtown area. My only complaint is that some of our bath towels had stains on them and our a/c didnt work too well. The room was very clean and comfortable otherwise!
