The highlights of our stay were the outstanding front desk staff and charming room with a great view. However, the on-site restaurants leave a lot to be desired from a service, timing, and flavor perspective, especially for the price. Overlooking the ocean was wonderful, but the beach itself isn't the greatest.

My friend and I went to meet another friend (who was visiting out of town and staying at the hotel) yesterday at the hotel before going out to dinner. We valet parked the car as thats the only option they have and when they brought the car before going out for dinner, the inside of my car was all wet because they had the windows open during heavy rains. The valet said that out of habit, they always roll down the windows. What kind of valet does that in the rain, let alone a 5 star hotel. He did not even apologize or offer any towels to dry the seats and the sides. We were all dressed up and it was impossible to sit without getting wet. The hotel needs to do a better job training their staff. It is common sense to not open or leave the windows open during heavy rains.
