image Leah helped transform my hair! I have naturally light hair and she gave me beautiful highlights with a sick cut. I have been salon hopping trying to find someone who knows how to deal with my hair and Leah is my new go-to!

image I wanted to brighten my hair and showed the picture with special remarks- I want to be bright blonde not grey or platinum. I spent there 4(!) hours . They tried 4 different colors. At first 3 times the result was horrible- dull grey/silver color! I showed up with light hair but they made it much darker grey. I was in tears. It were 3 women trying to do correction. Only the 4-th time made my hair look like blonde. I dont like the attitude of these women- they were annoying with me and tried to prove that grey hair which they made look like like bright blonde! And one of them just trimmed the back of my hair didnt touch front or sides. Anyway the price for their horrible job was $270! My hair is fine and 4 chemicals treatments made a lot of damage. I dont recommend this hair salon !

Thank you for stopping by our salon. When you came in for your consultation, you communicated to your stylist that you did not want to see any gold or yellow tones. Of course your stylist will give you platinum, which means no yellow or gold tones into it. The stylist took her time to reassure that you would get what you want, which will time. Unfortunately the end result was miscommunication between the client and hair stylist. We can only do our best, but you did get what you want so of course we have to charge for the service. For future recommendation when you get your hair done next time, tell any stylist that you just want blonde hair.

image In early January I took my older daughter in to have her hair cut and colored and she got severe chemical burns on her face and ears from the bleach the stylist used which will likely leave her with permanent scarring. The stylist applied the bleach haphazardly so the bleach was a good inch+ on my daughter's face and caked on her ears. When my daughter almost immediately complained that her ear was burning, the stylist tried to wipe it off her one ear and then walked away, telling her she'd be back in 20/25 minutes once the bleach had done its job. About 5 minutes later my daughter texted me and asked me to come back to her chair. When I did, she said the bleach was burning her face and ears, and upon looking for the stylist and not being able to find her, I got paper towels from the bathroom and wiped the heavy bleach off the skin along her hairline, and tried to wipe it off her ears but it was difficult with the foil. The skin on her hairline was already quite red after only about 7-8 minutes on her skin. In typical teen form, she said her ears were fine and shed wait until the stylist got back. When the stylist returned nearly half an hour later, she saw my daughters skin and told her that doesnt normally happen and advised her to use aloe vera on it when she got home.
The rest of the appointment was fine, my daughter loves her hair, but as we were driving home from the appointment nearly 2 hours later (the appt took almost four hours), I noticed that my daughter had developed large blisters on her ears and that the red burns on her face were blistering and scabbing over. We got her home, applied aloe vera and balm, and will continue to do so. I considered going to urgent care, but read up on burn treatment and it doesnt seem there is anything different or more they can do, so I instead sent a message to the dermatologist.
I called the salon manager Mischa when we got home and when we connected the next day I told her about my daughters burns and suggested some safety protocols to ensure this didnt happen in the future. She was polite, but essentially blamed us for the burns occurring. She said because my daughter is on a topical acne cream, that her dermatologist should have advised us of the risks of using bleach. Her dermatologist did not advise us of that risk, but also, there shouldnt have been a full inch of excess thick bleach ON my daughters skin and ears. Had the stylist kept the bleach to the hair, we would not be in this horrible situation with my daughter likely being permanently scarred. Furthermore, my daughter does not use the cream on her ears and her ears are a total mess, heavily blistered and discolored, so the burns happened there with no cream involved.
My suggestions, which again the manager did not feel were necessary, were that:
1. They inform clients up front when the color they desire is going to first require bleach so they can pause and consider whether they want to bleach their hair. We were not advised of this need.
2. They ask clients if there is anything that could possibly cause a reaction with the bleach before they start. Perhaps had they asked us we would have thought to share that my daughter uses a cream for acne prevention even though we had no idea this was an issue and perhaps the stylist would have been more careful with the application of the bleach.
3. That they apply vaseline or some other balm on the hairline and ears for clients when they are getting bleach, the same way they SHOULD do when clients are getting color to provide a protective layer.
4. That they have aloe vera, balm and other remedies for these sorts of burns should they occur in the future so that clients can be treated immediately. And that they check for a reaction BEFORE leaving a client alone in the chair for an extended period.
Im really upset this happened to my daughter and that her gorgeous skin will likely be permanently scarred as a result, which just sucks and was totally avoidable. (Site is currently not letting me upload photos, I will as soon as I can.)
