High turn over rate with way to much confusion by the project manager and contractor who seems to value excuses and blame rather than honesty and dedication. Seems to be if your a good liar you will succeed at Bailey Construction.

Ever since I have lived in this small senior community, Bailey Construction has been working on a multifaceted renovation.  I have lived in the midst of construction debris and dirt this entire time. When asked if they couldn't clean up the debris sometimes I was told, "It's a construction site!"  The projects have taken at least twice as long as necessary even taking into consideration"covid' issues, supply chain, etc. There were many weeks where nothing would get done.  We felt like we were a fill-in project, definitely not a priority. I wouldn't even recognize the owner of the company if I saw him, and I live right in the midst of it. It seemed like there wasn't any coordination between it's subcontractors and  Bailey Construction. The still UNFINISHED poorly designed Rain Garden (required by the city for drainage) doesn't drain properly, now overflowing down the sidewalk in front of residents homes creating a safety hazard and dirty mess. Landscaping this eyesore can't happen until they do the right thing and fix their engineering mistake.  Now that they have been paid almost in full, WHEN are you going to come back and finish cleaning up your mess and finish the many unresolved issues you have left us with so we can get on with our lives and not FEEL and LOOK like we live in a construction project??????

Bailey construction started a remodel on a retirement community building next door to me two years ago. Because I'm a designer and my husband a retired architect, we watched in horror as they tore up, built, then tore down and rebuilt structures. They low-prioritized the project, left for long periods of time, did shoddy, unsupervised work, leaving older people thoughtlessly inconvenienced for a project that should have taken nine months. They ignored calls from the manager, pleas from residents, and never changed their approach. The owner showed up maybe 10 times over 24 months. Included in the design was a Rain Garden, a huge hole to be filled and planted and essential to alleviate the new drainage. It sat dangerously empty for six months, then was filled with non-percolating soil, so overflows with water when it rains. This is how they left the drain pipe to the driveway. We are still waiting for them to fix it.
