Alamo Rent A Car

I made a reservation today, maybe half an hour before going to the desk. The guy at the counter said there was going to be a wait since they had just had a rush and all their cars were gone, I had requested a midsize/standard car. Somebody else came from the back and told him to just put me in one of the available vehicles, which is a pick up or an SUV: normally a much higher purchase price, but they made it available for the same rental price. That is really outstanding customer service, a rare thing to find these days. Bravo, Alamo!

Do not under any circumstances ever ever ever rent from national or Alamo car rental. I rented a car in Denver I brought the car back two hours earlier than my contract time. They claimed I never returned the car and started sending me nasty emails. Unbelievable!!! now Im gonna have a nightmare dealing with several companies including my credit card company getting rid of this problem. ***under no circumstances should you ever rent a car from Alamo or national*** save yourself its a nightmare. [UPDATE] I finally reached a person at Alamo with an IQ greater than 50. Sheryl managed to view video at the rental return confirming my drop off time. Wow is that what it takes? You decide.
