If you are going to this dentist office for treatment, make sure you ask upfront for any consultation fee to save your time. We had a really bad experience with this office front office woman.

I had to go in for an emergency and was seen by Dr. Lisa Tran. Even though this was a last minute emergency, Dr. Tran agreed to see me right away in a very timely manner. The office appeared very clean and sanitized. I was seen right on the dot of my appointment time with practically no wait time. Dr. Tran presented herself very professionally throughout the whole appointment. She was extremely nice and sincere. My whole appointment went very smoothly from start to finish. She gave me anesthesia and waited patiently until I was completely numb, even checking on me before she got started. Next thing I know, the appointment was finished and my emergency was taken cared off. Being a fellow healthcare provider, I could tell that Dr. Tran was very exact in her treatment and was highly competent. The appointment felt very easy because of her high level of skill. I felt great after post operation. No complications or discomfort whatsoever. I'm glad that I went to Dr. Tran for my emergency. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lisa Tran as an Oral Surgeon. My experience at her office went very well and I'm very happy with the work that she performed on men She's very skilled, while being very professional. I would definitely send my relatives and friends to Dr. Tran for any treatment pertaining to Oral Surgery as I'm fully confident that they would receive top notch treatment.

I got my wisdom tooth out last week using the general anesthesia. I didn’t even realized when I started sleeping and suddenly just woke up, and everyhing is done. I really like the result. It doesn’t hurt at all. I only took my pain medication 2 times after the procedure just incase it might hurt. But then it actually doesn’t. I drank Starbucks (with spoon) and ate chicken wings at night after the surgery (I tear it out with my hands and only eat the soft part slowly). I like how they list all the stuff that you should do and all the soft food that you can eat. Instead of just eating porridge or jello for a week, now I know I can eat more varieties of food. They respond quickly too. I asked them something at sunday night and they replied just the morning after during their work hours.

When I was 20 years old. Suffering from my growing wisdom teeth pain. I was referred to Dr. Sanford L. Ratner by my orthodontist. Was very confident with his background and reviews however not realizing what I was getting myself into. Luckily, my wisdom teeth were successful taken out. Typically, your mouth is in pain however mine was not. It was my arm that was in pain due to Dr. Ratner's UCLA intern. He had his intern place the IV/anesthesia in my arm. When I arrived home that evening my arm was severely bruised, swollen. My mother quickly scanned me and sure enough I was diagnosed with a blood clot. The blood clot quickly spread up my arm and almost to my heart, which would cause a stroke. Luckily, I went to the doctor the next day and they ruled out deep vein thrombosis/blood clot. I was quickly placed on a blood thinner right away for months. I had to get my blood thinning levels checked at least 2 to 3 times a week, each costing me about $30 in co-pay amounts. (Thank goodness I was still on my father's insurance) Dr. Ratner made up all these excuses for this incident. He was blaming my age, weight, small rise in blood pressure. I could not believe the excuses he came up with. He was not sincere at all. I even took a (factor 5 test) to find out if blood clots were in my genes. The test was negative. The cause of this was from the IV needle damage on my vein. It took me a year to finally get healthy again. The clot was finally out of my system and I could breath and live a normal life. To this day, I still am traumatized by my whole experience. I'm afraid to even get my blood drawn or to donate blood now. If you choose to go with Dr. Ratner, be sure there is someone who knows what they are doing before any surgeries performed. I would highly not recommend him, just because of my experience.

I am very upset 😡. If you have Blue CrossPPO don't bother the doctor is not in network. Before I made an appointment I called and asked if Dr. Ratner is in network with blue cross ppo and I was told yes by front office medical team. Before my appointment I sent in my insurance information. The day of my appointment I was told my insurance copay would be $393.00 and I paid. On my third consult I asked Dr. Ratner himself before we proceed any further are you in network with blue cross PPO and he said no. I left and canceled my appointments. Dr. Ratner thank you for being honest and a good doctor, but your front office needs help they do not know what they are doing. I gave my insurance information two weeks prior to my appointment enough time to verify benefits.Plenty of time to give me a call and tell that my insurance is not in network and that I would have to pay out of pocket. Front office if you do not know how to do your job ask. Stop wasting the patients and your doctor's time. I will not be paying any bills sent by this office.
