Dr. Dieu Nga Truong

The doctor was very nice, but a kind of too rushing so l dont think I can get the right prescription for my eyeglasses. The eyeglasses shop ladies did not give me the right quote for frames & lens through the phone at the beginning and also at the time face to face before the appointment with the doctor. Bad experience.

I walked in with the confidence that the Doctor was aware of my strabismus surgery. Since I had just filled out A health form that asked me questions about me having any health problems I should have them be aware of or any prior surgerys, and I had filled out the sheet clearly stating that I have had strabismus surgery 3 months prior to the eye exam with DR.Dieu Nga Truong today. During the light examination to the eyes I started to feel various symptoms of beginning to feel like I was going to pass out everything the doctor was saying all sounded very distant, my body felt completely heavy, uncontrollably shaky It was very difficult to breath for about 7 minutes as I tried to relax and calm down from the panic attack I started to face as i saw and began to feel everything start to fade black along with the vision in my eyes. Come to find out Dr.Dieu Nga Truong openly told me she did not read the Health document I had just filled out which contained all the information about me having a prior surgery She clearly did not take the time to read her patients health information properly. I asked Dr. Dieu Nga Truong about how my strabismus surgery had resulted after 3 months of it healing to where It comes to my attention that Dr Dieu Nga Truong did not read the health information I had just filled out in the prior room before coming to the back to do the exam with her, she goes onto openly tell me that is the reason why i started to feel symptoms of fainting because my eye was getting used to light after healing. But I Find it really inappropriate that I had to go through that Personally I felt like i was going to completely black out or worse while the exam was taking place. I am also a minor at the age of 17, the doctor did not make a effort to call in my mother which was seated patiently waiting for me in the other room, when the procedure was done she did not go onto describe anything that had happened to my mom she simply gave us the receipt for the exam and let us know the cost, went on back into the back and never once informed the legal adult in charge of me of what had just happened to me.
