Horrible the worst i file a claim on the 28 of march and been waiting for 4 days for them to process my claim and they still havent , everytime that i called they say the same thing, they ripping off people charging $18 a month and then when we need their services they decline the claim or take days to process

This is a horrible run company with horrible customer service. The absolute mess of communication with all of the service representatives was horrendous. I honestly do not understand how a company needed me to have the same conversation 6 times, I was hung up on 4 times and didn't receive emails or return phone calls that I was promised would be within 24 hours hours until multiple days later. The service provided is awful and I don't think that any level of training would fix it. This is exceptionally horrible because this is a service that WE PAY FOR. We pay an additional monthly charge on our bill so that we can have protection on our phones and this is the service we receive? Horrible horrible horrible. -5/5

I am highly dissatisfied with the service provided by Assurant Insurance. My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. The claim process is unnecessarily complicated and convoluted. I recently filed a claim for water damage to my properties, and the amount of paperwork and documentation they required was excessive. They intentionally tried to make the process challenging to discourage claims. I will update this post with full details in a few days. For now, I highly discourage you from getting renters insurance from this company.
