Ben's Asphalt

The HOA hired this company to replace the asphalt in the condo complex. In removing the asphalt they scarred garage aprons and broke many curbs. They damaged the trash enclosure. In replacing the asphalt they overfilled it and it crumbles when we drive over it. The rain from the downspouts accumulates and doesnt drain to the middle of the street. They ruined all the concrete drains by leaving asphalt on all the center street drains and even onto the main street, Aliso Niguel, and entrance to the condo, Elaine Street. Power spraying after the asphalt project did not remove the asphalt on the center street drains. In other areas they under filled and the area is already crumbling even after repaving . It is especially bad in the corners and at the end of streets or parking spots. The repainting of the red curbs was equally poor. They over sprayed and and other areas are already peeling. They cut back 30 year old plants. I agree with other reviewer that said the aggregate used in this project (Village Niguel Terrace II, Laguna Niguel) was too large. Why did my HOA hire this company? I have to live with Bens Asphalt awful job.

Our HOA hired Ben's Asphalt to re-pave all of our streets. It is the worst paving job ever! The agregste they used was very large on all of the streets except the main road! They never slurried the asphalt. The slurry is what makes it last. I called Jeremy at Ben's Asphalt and he told me he would be at the property the next day. He had my # n address, he never showed.Jeremy said the company would be out to slurry the asphalt. They never showed. All of our neighbors are upset. There is tar all over our cement, holes in the asphalt everywhere. We are all dragging in rocks n asphalt into our garages and homes! I contacted our HOA and they never answered me back! The HOA must have gotten a great deal for an awful job! It is a horrific job! I am surprised thst billy has allowed this company get so bad! People, stop using Ben's Asphalt!

This company has the worst customer service. They will not correct their mistakes when they make them on the job. DO NOT RECOMEND. Their work is not warranted. They say it is, but then they will refuse to come out and fix it. Service: Asphalt resurfacing
