Noodle Place

Bad service and overpriced bland Chinese food, they apparently own spicy noodle house by south coast plaza and their food has gone up almost 5 dollars per plate since 2020 and the taste as well as this place has gone down. Last time I eat at either place. Horrible service, 25% increase in price and poor taste.

Not sure what changed since the reviews and pictures I saw but the food was different from pictures and what was listed on the menu descriptions. For example, the shiitake mushroom stir fry didn't come with all the veggies (instead came with celery and rice) and all of the rice dishes used overcooked rice. Wanted to like this place but very disappointing.

Came here with wife and two kids. Ordered the basil leek noodles, fried rice, orange chicken, and 1/2 order of chicken noodle soup. Everything came out quick and piping hot. Set in an unassuming plaza, this place has delicious food and large portions. We could not eat everything and took plenty of leftovers home.

We drive over an hour just to come here! The flavor is incredible, especially the ginger scallion dish. Rice noodles are immaculate and since they use cornstarch when cooking, I can eat it even with my gluten sensitivity! Without a doubt, our families favorite Chinese food place. Atmosphere is alright, but the food is definitely worth it!

My favorite local stop for good Chinese style food! We always get the hot and sour soup- it is full of strips of tofu and bamboo sprouts and wood ear mushrooms and never any pork! I don't know how they magically get the rich hot and sour flavor without pork but they do! I always order a large size which is enough for two or three bowls of soup. We also love their Singapore noodles- stir fried rice vermicelli with curry, veggies and we get slices of chicken. We also like the green bean chicken- which is chock full of fresh green beans quickly stir fried with slices of chicken in a flavorful sauce. Every order includes a generous portion of white steamed rice. Service is prompt and efficient - everyone here is very pleasant and hard working. Indoor dining available and the place is very clean. They take phone orders but be prepared to come quickly after placing your order- it is ready in a flash! Highly recommend!
