Alicia was a reassuring and great mediator during a very difficult time. Divorce is emotional and difficult to say the least, and Alicia showed fairness, perspective, care, and took time to understand both sides of the situation. She also encouraged remediation if possible, which was appreciated. Using Alicia as a mediator protected us from court, our children from getting involved, and allowed both of us to divide our lives in respect and fairness. Having two lawyers would undoubtable create more battles than necessary. For the situation at hand, Alicia worked with both of us so we were able to be amicable and protect what is most important, our children, and our healing.

Alicia Taylor is the real deal when it comes to mediation and was a delight to work with. Going through a divorce after a 30-year relationship was one of the most difficult things I have had to do in my lifetime. Both my Ex and I initially hired our own attorneys at the advice of friends and family close to us to be sure that we had representation that would be looking out for all of our best interests. I quickly realized that my attorney was out to win and do whatever it took to get there. What he did not understand was that we were not necessarily looking to win, but to be fair with each other. We have always had a strong connection but the time came for us to move forward, explore other options and move in different directions. After being referred to Alicia and having our initial conversations on how she could help us, it was a no brainer to cut ties with our own attorneys. Alicia took the time to get to know us on a personal level and put into play a plan of action to help us maneuver our way through the process with, kindness, fairness and sometimes much needed therapeutic methods. Her legal expertise combined with compassion and therapy proved the be the perfect fit for us. Divorce is no fun, but Alicias methods made the process so much less painful in the end.

I was referred to Alicia by a friend when I was looking for a divorce attorney, and it was suggested that we use her as a mediator for both my ex and I because one of our end goals in the divorce was to come out of it as amicably as possible and remain friends. She was literally the most wonderful, fair, calm, knowledgable, professional, and at times therapeutic peacemaker that we could have asked for to guide us through the often difficult nuances of separation and divorce. It is no secret that going through a divorce is an agonizing experience.
