Interesting art gallery with eclectic shows that change monthly. Worth checking out when you're in the area South Coast Plaza area. Just across the street in South Coast Village behind The Corner Bakery. They have opening receptions usually on the first Saturday of the month featuring new works with music and refreshments, and you get to meet the local artists. They feature a wide range of contemporary art from Oils and Acrylic Paintings, Glass Art, Photography, Sculpture to Mixed Media. The piece range in size (and cost if youre looking to buy). Always interesting. It's also part of the Bear Street Gallery next door. It's across the street from South Coast Plaza off Bear St.

I have been showing my work at SHOWCASE GALLERY for several years. The Gallery Director Maureen sets up an easy and fun show each month for all levels of artists to participate. The monthly show receptions are filled with music and many talented artists that will discuss their talents and techniques.

I went to a special event featuring the artists whose work is on display. The artwork is excellent, perfect for gift giving and attractively priced! I'm addition to getting a chance to talk to the artists about their work, I enjoyed the live music played by a versatile ukulele group accompanied by a percussionist. It was a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season!
