New management is extremely rude and have no regard for the people that have lived there for years. The lady in the front office is EXTREMELY rude. Everytime she has spoken on the phone with anyone in my household, she hangs up before anyone is able to speak.

My dad has lived there for 30 years. In all of this time, they have never updated the carpeting, painted, or made any attempt to maintain the property in a respectable way. They have no interest in the residents, or maintaining the properties. Property owners have divorced themselves from any responsibility to maintain a safe living space. They only want to increase profits.

This is a BEAUTIFUL, quiet community with a great manager. Some units have a garage space or two and some even have their own (outside) laundry. There's a community pool, BBQ, and gym too! Downside is zero guest parking. Every unit gets two assigned parking spots, either in a garage or on the property. There are a few laundry rooms and if you're lucky enough to get a newer apartment with its own laundry, you still have to go outside to get to it, but at least it'll be in a little shed in your back patio, so it's covered and lockable. Last bummer is that there is a no pet policy. Given that, I can still wholeheartedly recommend Sherry Lane Garden Homes for the beautiful landscaping, good management, fair rent considering the perks, and it's on a cul-de-sac so there's not a lot of traffic speeding by on your street. Plus, it's really, really close (walking distance) to lots of shopping and restaurants.
