Me & my husband have been living here for over 2 years now. We love our little home weve created here. Yes, they just went up on our rent but its similar to many other apartment complexes around here. For the most part, we do enjoy living here! We also LOVE the Huskee coffee shop! Our favorite drink is the Maple Oatmilk Shaken Expresso! Their shop is also adorable & great to have work or study sessions!

Messaged twice through their website for a tour and got no response. After a week I decided to call which someone answered. I booked a tour the next day which was Saturday at 9AM. Got to the apartment and leasing office was closed and no one showed up. Waited 15 mins in case someone was running late, but ended up leaving. Place seems disorganized and the one star reviews seem true.

Nineteen01 was recently sold to a management company, Avenue5, and ruined this building. I have lived here for 4 years, my roommate has lived here for 6. I used to love this place and never wanted to leave. Now, we absolutely cannot wait for our lease to end. To be fair, some of the changes that Avenue5 made were great. April, one of the new managers in the office, is wonderful to work with and very kind and knowledgeable. They also got new patio furniture and finally cleaned the pool. Thats it. At Nineteen01, you're paying significantly more for something significantly WORSE. All of these units were $1000 less per month just 6 months ago, and that has nothing to do with inflation. That's just Avenue5. They keep changing the number of free weeks they offer online because no one is interested, I think they're up to 6 now? I would personally wait until they give you 52 weeks free, and even then I'd urge you to reconsider. You are not a resident here, you're more like a subscriber. They found every way to squeeze money from the same old, quickly deteriorating building. Avenue5 has actively made Nineteen01 a terrible place to call home. They provide us with nothing but a massive monthly account balance. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!! Despite being a "luxury" apartment building, we do not even have the luxury of keeping our property safe. Last month, both my car and my neighbor's car had the windows smashed, were broken into and stolen from, both on the third floor of our "secure" residential parking. My storage unit was also broken into and all of my old electronics and instruments were stolen from inside my unit in a locked room inside the "secure" building. Do not expect any help from the office, as they do not have functioning security cameras and will do nothing to assist. In fact, their new policy made it even worse! They now rent their guest parking spots daily, including empty resident spots. Not only do friends and family need to pay to visit, but any random person now can access the building from any angle. Win win. Speaking of security, the alarms malfunction so often that, in the event of an actual emergency, no one would even react. This is because, over a dozen times, weve been woken up in the middle of the night to a blaring alarm for 10-15 minutes until the fire department can come and reset it. Its a pet friendly building but Im glad we dont have animals here. If you do have a pet, they are only allowed at the dog park, which as of yesterday when we walked past it, is a 1:1 ratio of fake grass to feces. I don't think the dog poop has been cleaned up since they purchased the building, but there are plenty of signs saying that they will fine you $50 if you don't pick it up. And speaking of fining you, I hope you have a credit card to put down if you ever want to receive packages at this building, although I'm not sure how that's legal. Their package locker got broken into and multiple resident packages were stolen, including several of mine. In response, and without informing us of the issue with stealing, they began only accepting large packages to the office and requiring an ID during business hours to pick up. If you work a 9-5, you can no longer receive packages here. Avenue5 also changed the utility billing, where instead of being charged by unit, you pay equally for whatever the building uses. It doesn't matter how much you conserve, or if you're even at home, you'll still be paying for the waste of the whole building. The utilities aren't even reliable; we regularly lose all hot water. Ice cold showers in the morning while it's raining outside in February. Luxury. For your own mental health, find one of the many, many other buildings in the area. They literally opened three brand new ones on across the street. Please, don't waste your time and money on this one. It is a case study in how a greedy, terrible management company came in and ruined a building for maximum profits. This is my home and Avenue5 ruined it. Absolutely disgusting.
