Unfortunately, Dr. Diana Partovi does not have significant education or experience with trauma pathology, which compromises her ability to communicate with autistic and learning-disabled patients to the extent that she is not competent to identify diagnostic traits. Dr. Partovi struggles to communicate clearly in a way that autistic patients can understand, in addition to misunderstanding and misconstruing the somatic/literal-type of statements made by these patients. This miscommunication is (unintentionally) manipulative toward autistic patients - Dr. Partovi is phrasing questions in a way patients cannot understand and subsequently assessing their answers through completely unrelated metrics. Dr. Partovi is very friendly and kind with positive bedside manner, but currently an incompetent clinician.
