        I love their food! Always perfectly prepared and nicely presented. Service is top-notch. However, the dining room is loud. Their fish is perfectly cooked. It's a hard one to pull off every time. UPDATE: Went to IL Davide tonight, and the service was not what it usually is. I made a reservation for my sister's birthday. We were given a table right in front of the wine closet. There were better tables. Other tables were given serving priority and better tables. No mention was made of her birthday or offered. The server was not attentive. Things asked for did not arrive. Overall, it was a significant downgrade from the norm.

        Go to place in San Rafael for a nice, semi-fancy lunch. Vegetarian options: A few veggie options, all tasty. I usually go for a ravioli.
