Rafael Floors

We've had Rafael Floors do most of our house with new carpet.  First the bedrooms.  And then later an office.  They are responsive, fairly priced and scheduled us quickly and efficiently. We will always use them!

Big thanks to Steve at Rafael Floors! Due to a pipe burst flood in June, we have had no flooring in our house for three months. Not ideal with a wife and toddler... Our dawdling insurance company was unable to help us with a flooring Vendor (frustrating!) Finally, I stopped in to Rafael Floors with my wife. We made our selection, and were quoted an installed price on the first visit. Less than a week later, the new flooring and replacement baseboard were installed. After dealing with insurance for three months, I can't say what a pleasure it was to find a vendor who knew what they were doing and could make it happen for us. Not only was the sale staff helpful, and the installation crew fast, clean and efficient the entire experience made my wife and I appreciate the professionalism exhibited by Rafael Floors. Thank you Steve and staff!

Wow.  This was absolutely the best home improvement experience we've had. From the estimator Jack to the installer Fidel, service was A+. We had hardwood floors installed upstairs which I was dreading due to the anticipated dust and smell.  Fidel did an amazing job cleaning up before leaving each day and the end result is beautiful. Would definitely use this stellar business again.

Just a quick note about how pleased we are with Rafael Floors. We just bought a new home and we wanted to replace the carpets with hardwood floors. It was a big job involving the entire second floor and one bedroom on the bottom floor. They did a great job for us. I saw that they had received lots of good Yelp reviews, and they were available when we needed to have the work done, so we crossed our fingers and went with them. At the showroom Steve Villa went over our options, as we tried to match as best we could the hardwood that's available today with hardwood flooring that already exists in the house - flooring that's no longer available on the market. He then ordered the wood, and arranged for the installation. It took two weeks to complete the work. The team of installers - Raul, Abner, and Eric - did a fabulous job. It was far more complicated than we imagined. They covered our windows to protect them, covered the carpet in our living room and stairs, removed all the carpet we wanted taken out and hauled it away, and installed the new flooring piece by piece. They cut the wood where necessary with precision, and they were very deliberate about which pieces of wood went where, making sure that the size and texture of each piece would work well with the wood around it. We had questions throughout the process, and Steve and the team were happy to explain what was going on, all of which eased our minds. It turned out perfectly, and we love our new floors. We highly recommend these guys. We found them caring, flexible, responsive, and really good at what they do.

Here is a set of events for a recent purchase I did: - I purchased ~330 sq ft of vinyl flooring (14 boxes). - During the purchase of the flooring, the salesman never mentioned to purchase a transition piece (where the flooring meets a door). This required me to place a second order for just a quarter round and pay an additional shipping cost. - When we went to install the flooring, about ~4 boxes of material were damaged. We used what we could on the ends and we ended up having to return two boxes of material that could never be used. - During the return, the business charged my card instead of issuing a refund even though they provided a receipt to me that indicated a credit. I only noticed once I was reviewing my credit card statement. I won't be doing business here anymore.
