By far the best sober living in the Bay Area. In the past, I've lived in many different sober living homes. Professionally for the past few years, I've placed close to one hundred clients in sober living. The more I witnessed, the less I liked. I saw houses that did not drug test, that packed 13 people at a $1,100 a person into a four bedroom shack. I've seen an owner place beds in a garage for a $1,000. Sober Living Marin is on a mission to change the stigma of SLEs by offering sober living with dignity. They support their clients by offering free recovery coaching, case management, multiple drug tests a week, quality furnishings, and no more then 6 people per house. I can honestly say that their staff cares and provides individualized support like no other sober living I have seen over the years.

Wow. I toured several sober living homes in Marin County and, without a doubt, Sober Living Marin is the highest standard of sober living. The homes are clean, well-maintained, and have staff onsite. The bedrooms are not like dorm rooms with multiple beds in a room. I saw private rooms in every home of Sober Living Marin and shared rooms. The house managers are actively participating in their own recovery. When I asked the manager of the sober living homes if everyone is tested, she told me they are randomly tested anywhere from 2 to 3 times a week. The house parent can be randomly tested at any time. The accountability is amazing. The structure. And the support services they offer--complimentary as a resident!
