If I could give zero stars I would. Called the San Mateo branch to try to get a refill but they refuse to help. All they would do is give me another branches number. When I asked Ciccilia at the front desk if she could get a hold of that branch she refused which was a disappointment seeing how overwhelming my dogs situation is and how stressed for time I was. Will not be returning this isnt the first time the service here has been below mediocre, its my fault for continuing to come but no more. San Mateo Banefield you under delivered once more

If I could I would give 0 stars, its terrible communication, I called them several times to find out about my dog and they hung up the phone or left me on hold for more than 30 minutes. Very irresponsible. I left my dog there for an appointment scheduled at 11am and they released her at almost 6pm. Absurd. They didn't really explain what she needed. The 11am receptionist is terrible and serves with zero desire to help. I'm never going back.

You figured Banfield is a chain, so they would be in cohoots with ALL locations and submit things on your pets file or communicate with any other vets from any of their fellow locations, right? WRONG! At least with this location! My cats usual location, the one in Pacifica recently diagnosed my cat with pre diabetes a few days ago and told me to do urine sample on her for a confirmation. My cat finally peed last night(March 4th) and I was able to collect the sample using the Nosorb one time litter they provided. They told me to refrigerate it and return it WITHIN 12 hours after collecting it, anytime beyond that they said it wouldnt be valid. However, what her primary location FAILED to tell me was that they were going to be closed from March 5th to March 7th! If her urine was going to expire in less than 12 hours, then there was no way to wait 3 days! So I went to THIS location on March 5th around 3 pm and told the lady at the desk a brief summary and asked if I could drop my cats sample off there. The receptionist said that she would go ask the doctor and be right back out! She comes back out and tells me they could take the sample! I asked her so they would report whatever results and either send it to her primary vet or put in on her file. She told me Yeah! All the results and records go online where all locations can see it, so youre good to go! Then, HOURS later, at 7:30 pm at night(when theyre supposedly closed), they call me and tell me that they cant take samples from pets they never seen, and that I would have to come back to pick up the sample or they discard it! I asked the lady on the phone why did yall even take the sample, lie to me, and tell me otherwise when I was there at the desk earlier? The lady on the phone just said Well I dont know who you spoke to earlier, but we cant accept it They literally got cameras and employees who clock in for shifts and theyre telling me they dont know who was working there at the desk of THEIR OWN HOSPITAL at 3 pm this afternoon on March 5th?!? The lady then kept telling me to call Pacifica in the morning, despite me telling her many times that they were closed for a few days and I didnt know they were going to be, and they said urine sample needed to be turned in WITHIN 12 hours of collecting! I cant call them if theyre closed! She kept not grasping that! I then tried asking for her boss and she told me that her boss was out of the country! Yeah okay! Overall a rude employee and bunch of liars who waste yours and your pets time here!
