Karen Collum is the best! Ive been seeing her at Laurelwood Optometry for over five years and shes a wonderful, meticulous, and seasoned optometrist. Shes friendly, transparent, and always has the patients care needs in mind. Highly recommend her!

Dr. Collom is an excellent eye doctor.  I've been her patient since she opened this practice, and she now treats me, my husband, and my children.  She is competent and clear, patient and professional.  I would recommend her to anyone.

We had such a great visit with Dr. Collom!  We met with her for our 11 month old as part of the InfantSEE program.  She was wonderful and was able to keep the baby amused while peforming the exam - she even dialated her eyes with no problems.  She was also very accomodating to answer our 4 year old's questions throughout the exam.  The exam went as smoothly as could be!

Dr. Collom is great! Professional, knowledgeable, warm and a good listener.  Her front desk staff is helpful, polite and professional. I wish all doctors were this great to work with.

Having never had a full eye exam at 26 (I've had perfect vision all my life), I was a bit uneasy about going to an optometrist, but Dr. Collum quickly put me at ease.  She took her time and explained every step of the exam.  She also made sure to leave time for me to ask questions and even explained how my insurance works for annual exams/frames/lenses.
