Be warned, the spice is no joke! Love the concept of this place though. Self-serve style and you pay by the pound so you get great value for what you get. The soup was super flavorful, just spicier than I expected as I got a 1/4 on the spicy scale for the classical bone soup. Good service with plenty of water and tissues for those who arent handling the spice well. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables and tofu options for vegetarians! Also has vegetarian friendly soups (tomato or mushroom based) but I would double check with the restaurant if they are truly vegetarian just in case.

Stopped for lunch with a family full of picky eaters, and everyone got something they liked. Excellent customer service, clean establishment, decent ambiance (they dont blare pop music like so many places this day and are). Vegetarian options: Plenty of protein options, primarily tofu or soy-based noodles.

Malatang is my new obsession! I enjoy their wide range of options from meat to veggies. It can be a fairly healthy yet tasty meal depending on what you select. Sufficient sauce bar and I appreciate the complimentary fruits, their the perfect palate cleanser. Staff are friendly and efficient. Would definitely come again!
