Unfortunately I have to give one star to nursing And rehab at home for the total lack of care at the critical time when my mother wAs first released from the hospital , when her needs were the most severe and she could not get out of bed herself . While they promptly first set up a physical therapist to come three times a week, NO one was set up to help her with basic daily aid for getting out of bed , using the toilet and bathing . This is  totally and completely unacceptable .  Fortunately I was able to work from home and I was forced to assume the role Nursing and Rehab should have done . My calls to their boss (I assume this was Lorna ) was met by the excuse they only had one home health aide , as they don't stick around for long before finding better jobs . And even if it were set up it would only be once or twice a week , not the daily help my mother so desperately  needed every morning to get out of bed and use the bathroom and bathe . By the time our complaints reached the head Of doctors at Kaiser hospital , almost three weeks  had pasSed and my mother had developed bed sores , but she was starting to get out of bed on her own . At that time they finally set up a home health aide for three times a week visits . Had they done this from the beginning,  so much agony and stress would have been avoided . Obviously if you are reading this review you probably have a loved one needing care after leaving the hospital , so my advice to you is to be absolutely sure about what nursing and rehab at Home will provide to you before selectIng them. In our caSe we were not given a choice by kaiser , they just set this up without our input . Confirm everything beforehand . Now as far as the providers they send out, our physical therapist Guy Watase was wonderful and Gabe the home health aide was also very good, but as stated he did not arrive until three weeks after the rehab was needed and he only stayed on for two weeks until my motHers condition improved. The other alternatives  to get home health care immediately all seem to be private pay agencies asking $30-35 per hour with a 20 hour weekly minimum. Yeah I get it we are all supposed to be rich in the Bay Area , but paying $700 a week on our own  when Medicare is supposed to cover 60-70 rehab visits is silly . Had nursing and rehab at home coordinated the proper level of care my mother needed from the outset the whole process would have been much better . Hopefully they will  see this review and take steps to improve this shortcoming .

My 86 year old father broke his hip and Nursing & Rehab at Home provided his post operative care. They were excellent! The RNs, Swati and Gabe, were wonderful to dad. OT Beth and PT Lori were caring and very positive through out my dads recovery. Dad met all of his goals with their encouragement and hard work. I highly recommend Nursing & Rehab at Home for your home health care needs. We will miss seeing our team.

My neighbor needed help rehabilitating after a weeks stay in El Camino Hospital. She asked me to research and pick which outfit would be best to take care of her needs and get her rehabilitated to continue to live in her own home. After reading the reviews on Yelp I chose Nursing and Rehab at Home and glad I did. The Occupational Therapist was great as well as Laurie who was the Physical Therapist from the Santa Clara Office and the Health Aid. You really have to work with these people in setting up a weekly schedule and setting expectations. They also supplemented with people out of the San Mateo Office that were great as well. Overall it was a very good experience.

I recently had knee replacement surgery and was seen by Jenny Chapman for home PT and Toni DeLoura for home OT from this company.  Both of these caregivers went above and beyond their job descriptions to give me exceptional, personalized care.Jenny was the bright spot during my initial days post-op - she was always encouraging and supportive.  Toni repeatedly went way out of her way to creatively help me with various problems I was having.  Both of these clinicians exceeded my expectations and exemplified truly caring compassion.  I was so impressed with these two - their can-do attitude and willingness to find solutions made a difference in my recovery.  I was very satisfied with this company and highly recommend them for home health therapy.
