Parkside Montessori

We were thrilled to find my son a small, Montessori-based PUBLIC school in the San Mateo Foster City school district when he graduated from a local K-5 private school.  We were concerned about him transitioning from a small private school to a large comprehensive middle school and were so relieved to learn than Parkside was adding 6-8th grades over the next few years. Parkside Montessori is enrolling TK-7th grade for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year. They will add eighth grade the following year and be a true K-8!  If you are looking for an alternative to the three comprehensive middle schools in the SMFCSD area, I invite you to attend a campus school tour and learn more.  We have only been Parkside community members for the last 4 months, but have been incredibly impressed so far!

My daughter went to preschool at Parkside Montessori  Preschool and she thrived in this Montessori environment and style learning. Naturally when it was time to register for Kindergarten, we pursued enrollment and transferred from Bayside Elementary to Parkside Montessori Elementary. We have since been both surprised and delighted to see how our daughter (who has very high energy) continue to thrive in a Montessori style setting. I absolutely love how they focus the balance of academics and practical skills so they she is well versed in both areas outside of the tradition classroom setting. Proud to be part of our Parkside Montessori Elementary school family.Also Gladys from administration office is great. Principal Tahai is also amazing and know each student by name & he is great with sharing updated communication around new protocols or newsletters.Miss Castiglia is the best! She is kind & my daughter can't stop talking about her. I would highly recommend  this school!Go Tigers!
