Where the college applications process initially felt overwhelming, working with Ivy Admissions has been the most helpful and valuable experience to prepare me for my dream schools. During the start of senior year, I felt anxious about what schools I wanted to apply to and how I would be able to showcase my passions to these institutions. At my first meeting with Deeana, I instantly felt comfortable sharing my ambitions as she helped me highlight my experiences and career goals that I would soon formulate into my personal statement essay. Further, I was paired with a college readiness consultant who supported me in every aspect of the process. From helping me identify my top schools to offering insight and advice on what college admission officers scout for in essays, Ivy helped me reflect on the value of my personal experiences and build the self-confidence to reach my fullest potential. By working around my schedule, they have made the college application journey extremely smooth and I never felt hesitant to ask for help when needed, especially because of the around the clock support and rapid responses I received. I was able to apply to all my dream schools in a stress-free, timely manner. I genuinely enjoyed navigating through this process with Ivy Admissions and I would highly recommend working with them!

I really enjoyed my experience with Ivy Admissions! Deanna was a great help, and she guided me in areas outside of just writing college essays. I started in the summer of my junior year, and Deanna helped me stay on track in my artificial intelligence internship and also helped me with my submission for the Congressional App Challenge. The Ivy Admissions team has many resources, and Deanna connected me with a team member who had previous experience with app design and coding. Throughout the process, Deanna and her team edited and helped me outline my essays in a timely manner, and everything was organized on a google spreadsheet and google drive. The team is flexible, encouraging, and understanding of the points I want to give across in my essays. I liked having someone there to make sure I was on track with my college applications. IvyAdmissions helped me get into Carnegie Mellon and Berkeley computer science, two reach schools tied first place nationally for computer science. I was also accepted into UMich, UIUC, USC, and UT for computer science as well. Even after the college application process ends, IvyAdmissions offers assistance with scholarship applications as well, which is also very helpful. For what its worth, IvyAdmissions was a great assistance in guiding me throughout the college admissions process.

I began working with Ivy Admissions three years ago and have just accepted my offer of admissions at NYU, my dream school and a reach school. My tutors helped me in many of my classes, guided me in preparing for the SAT, and helped me build a narrative to tell my story to my dream schools. I also received over 140K in scholarships. I highly recommend working with Deeana, Roland, Zaineb, and the whole Ivy Admissions team.

As my junior year began to close and senior year loomed ahead, I felt daunted by the seemingly endless forms and essays that come with the college application process. I had my goal of where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do, but I desperately needed guidance on everything in between: planning college essays, editing them, reaching out to professors, bolstering my application. Understanding my trepidation at the scale of the task ahead, my mother suggested that we use Ivy Admissions, and it is thanks to that decision that I got into my dream university. Deeana, my counselor, began our first session by spending hours in a call with me to understand my background and my goals, and from there laid out a detailed plan on what I had to do, beginning with finding a suitable summer internship. She presented me several options and aided me in writing the required essays, and I ended up being accepted at two experiences which led me on the path I am on today: the first as a researcher at the Aspiring Scholars Directed Research Program(ASDRP) and the other as a programming intern at Cisco Systems. After my senior year began, Deeana worked with me week after week in perfecting my personal statement and UC essays, guiding me through how to attack the questions in a clear yet succinct manner and illuminating me to the minutiae that college admissions officers look out for. I was blown away by the detail that she and her staff put into my application and the rapid response I was given to my questions, numerous as they were. I realized after the entire process that there is no substitute for a great college counselor, and you can find one here. I can say without a doubt that Deeana played a necessary part in my admissions successes, and I am proud to say that with her help I will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall.
