I just recovered from an invasive and painful surgery. After an extensive hospitalization I was sent home to recover. Accent home care sent Dr. Dinah Compton to my home to assist in my recovery. She is an amazingly brilliant Physical therapist with a knowledge of pain management thats remarkable. Dinah worked with me through my stages of pain and taught me many techniques for dealing with the pain and gave me a program for strength development. I cant say enough or thank Dinah enough. She got me through a very dark period.

I just worked with AccentCare for post surgical home based physical therapy in early June 2023. Excellent care, responsive immediately regarding scheduling of appts, follow up, general knowledge of the physical therapists sent, etc. I cannot speak highly enough of the care received. Special kudos to Akshita and Dinah for the exceptional care.

The absolute WORST home, healthcare agency in North County San Diego I have ever dealt with from a management standpoint. Avoid this company like the plague, especially if you have medical supply necessities. I have had them twice post surgery, several years apart. After speaking with new manager and getting assurances things were better against my better judgment, I gave them a second chance. HUGE MISTAKE Urgently needed medical supplies that are needed on a monthly basis for my body to function were ordered and to my surprise, even after I had emailed the exact supplies and detailed reference numbers to the products needed, incorrect supplies were shipped to me. I may do with what I had as it was during the Christmas/New Year Holidays. Round two January supplies It only got worse. Multiple phone calls and email communications for supplies that were needed for January were sent to the person in charge beginning on January 10, 2023. I usually order when I have a 10 day supply remaining, which is always been ample even with holidays involved for any other company Ive ever bought supplies through. Medline their supply carrier that they ordered from informed me that once they receive an order it takes 2 to 3 days to pass through insurance and then the order is shipped out immediately. By January 18th, I was down to a day or two of supplies. No shipments had been received from AccentCare San Marcos via Medline their supplier. In desperation, I was left with no recourse other than to privately purchase my own supplies at the cost of over $100 to me, which is an expenditure I did not need on a fixed income and when Medicare pays for my supplies. I advised AccentCare San Marcos of the problem, and was given all kinds of excuses and that they would look into it and call their representative. I was advised that part of my shipment was sent would be there in 2 days. By now I had received an email from FedEx stating that my shipments from Medline would arrive on January 24 and 25th. Unacceptable I called Medline and they advise me that they received the order on the January 19th. I was also advised that some of my supplies had been delivered to me on January 12th, which I advised them and AccentCare San Marcos that they were never received. January 23rd, I received one of four supply items I ordered. Still no follow up on when, or if I will ever receive the rest of my January supplies. Once again on January 26th, I had to spend $150 to complete my monthly January order. When people are struggling to heal, a home health care is supposed to help them do just that and not put undue stress on them that only Exasperates their physical and mental well being on the road to recovery. On that note, I say job well done AccentCare, San Marcos. I also requested a discharge ASAP. Everyone of the nurses and physical therapy people that were helping me in my home to recover were outstanding. I wish I could write them five stars separately. I have read various employee input on different websites about their experiences working at AccentCare San Marcos. Very few have been positive as respects to management and in some cases critical on the courtesy and respect that they get as employees from management.
