Bellisimo Salon

So I was looking for a local blowout person. I called Bellisimo to get pricing and was told $55 on the phone prior to coming in. I came in and got the blowout which I was very happy with until they attempted to charge me $75 at checkout. They blamed the new pricing on the new receptionist saying she misquoted the price and they honored the $55 because I spoke up. I asked the same hair technician the cost for a haircut, out of curiosity and she quoted me $70. So I scheduled a haircut with the same person & she charged me $85 and told me they just raised their prices. It's a shame that they do this and I will not being going again. Just a forewarning to potential clients that they hook, bait and switch the pricing when you get to check out.

Sara was my stylist for hair styling and make up for a wedding I was attending. I showed her a picture of my dress. She was very creative with matching the colors and all the styling. I highly recommend her. Sara has a friendly personality and the time passed quickly. Her salon has a good vibe.

8 months I sat on whether or not to post this review but decided to share my experience so others might avoid the same. I had two disappointing experiences at Bellisimo. The first was a color appointment where I was quoted $150-$200, but was later told during the coloring process that I needed additional service for "a little bit more money" which ended up being an extra $250, bringing the total to nearly $450. I felt misled and taken advantage of despite being happy with the end result. The second experience was a blow dry appointment booked three months in advance with Sinan, the same stylist who did my color. I reconfirmed the appointment directly with him the morning of, but when I arrived, Sinan abandoned me to handle a color treatment, telling me he was too busy to do my hair. He passed me off to another stylist, who did a good job, but the lack of professionalism and disregard for my scheduled appointment was unacceptable. I am no longer a customer of Bellisimo due to these experiences.
