Dr. Aichouri has been nothing short of a "Godsend" to me and my family. As a result of an untimely and misfortunate death of my doctor 4 years ago, fate had put me into a position of finding a new doctor. With fear and trepidation, I searched for help in our "network plan." To no avail, I met with "challenges" by local psychiatrists in SLO who acted like they were scared to be doctors. Reluctant to treat. They made me feel as though I was a maniacal "drug craving derelict" without a previous and legitimate diagnosis. Smashing a lot of psychological progress! Enforcing arbitrary "re-proving" processes erected by some "golden rule" establishment. For example, rigorous lab tests, demanding chart records from physicians I had not seen for 5-6 years, cardiac stress tests, and on and on..... all the while I am running out of medication. Ignoring the fact I am a 51 year old male with no other comorbidities and regularly participates in triathlon events and exercise. Conveniently forgetting the fact I was legitimately managed by a local physician. Just befuddled, I was!!!! Out of desperation and after 4 months of trying to prove I have a bona fide diagnosis by doctors at ADDEPT Center (no longer in business) and Community Psychiatry I went "out of network." I am not even sure what brought me to Dr Aichouri's office, but now realize in hindsight, that it must be a Divine appointment. Alongside my Creator and Savior, Dr Anthony Aichouri has been an instrument of mental healing and maintenance in my life. I am thankful for him and his practice. Let's not forget his amazing secretary Kate! Who I cannot even begin to tell you about how helpful she is with EVERYTHING!

Dr. Aichouri is the best doctor I have ever seen and a very empathic staff. There are few physicians you can trust with your mental health. He is one. Kate has always gone beyond and above what needs done. A soothing soul.

He reviews things discussed during one's previous session, before asking your current state-of-mind. He empathizes well, and discusses things that you have to unburden yourself, mentally. It seems everyone reacts to their aggressions in different ways. Dr. Aichouri is unflappable in the face of some of the most bizarre revelations.
