Absolutely wonderful. Got the client in way before estimated wait time and did all they possibly could to get the evaluation completed in a few weeks during the pandemic. Very much appreciate this doctor and Peaks Clinic.

It was hard to get in contact with the office took a couple weeks after email, phone calls (left message(s)) and office visits (front door to waiting room was open but I never saw anyone?). PEAKS is mostly a behavioural treatment center for children. They don't do psychiatry of any kind prescriptions or medication management (and as I understand it, ~80% of behavioural interventions fail without medication (Dr. Barkley). They also don't take insurance (typical, since most don't cover ADHD or related disabilities anyway) and ADHD testing ranges $2250 to $2500 (if you want testing for school accommodations). Once I was able to get ahold of someone on the phone, however, she was very pleasant.

Dr. K at PEAKS Clinic was truly a godsend for our family. Our fifteen-year-old daughter has been struggling most of her life -- scholastically, socially, intellectually -- and we had taken her to almost every diagnostic specialist in SLO County. Every specialist had a different theory, and none of them rang true to us. None of them helped our child. I was so thankful when I found PEAKS Clinic online (and in our area!). Dr. K spent a couple of full days testing our daughter and talking with us. Two weeks later we had a diagnosis (or two) that finally resonated with us and helped elucidate our child! Not only that, we had advice and guidance! Dr. K recommended a psychologist and other services, and almost a year later, our daughter is absolutely glowing. She understands herself and has made tremendous strides socially and personally. She is a new person, and I can't thank Dr. K enough for how she has helped our family.
