Groundwork jiu-jitsu is hands down the best jiu jitsu gym/academy in Orange County. You get to train with high level practitioners/athletes while still getting a great community of people that turn into family. Very proud to train at Groundwork.

Professor John has created an amazing culture at Groundwork. It's a place that as soon as you walk in the door everyone is so happy to see you there and is ready to share and learn the beautiful art of Jiu Jitsu. You can expect a great deal of care from all of the Professors as well as all of the students who remember what it was like to be new. The facility is always clean and tidy. I have been training at Groundwork for two years now and I can honestly say it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. If you're thinking of giving BJJ a try, I encourage you to come in and give it a go.

My 10 year old son and I both train at Groundwork. We both absolutely love everything about it. Coach John is as good with the kids as he is teaching us adults. The skill level here is amazing. If you want to compete or are just looking to improve your self-defense, Groundworks has what you are looking for.

This review is specifically for my girls looking for a safe space to train or try Brazilian Jiujitsu. Groundwork is the best place for women of all ages. You get the best coaches in all of OC, everyones very respectful and professional, the academy is clean. The women who train in this academy are all welcoming and helpful as well, I love them all! I cannot ask for a better place to grow and do what I love doing at Groundwork.
