Absolutely pissed off as I got a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street during street sweep day, I am new to the area, and although I knew about this, I got my days mixed up.  Anyway, 50 dollars is pretty steep, when you think about it, all the truck has to do is drive around you, I have not checked into the bureaucracy but I will bet it's pretty thick20 bucks first offense would be more just, but we know the bureaucrats are always out to control and make money.  Let's all think about voting out the ones that have been in for years and have become dead weight, lets look into their connections with businesses and make sure they are clean, let's look deep and judge accordingly.God bless you all. I needed a venue for my Dad's celebration of life reception after his funeral Mass, since the Mission Basilica does not have a facility on site for this purpose. Not wanting to risk having it outdoors in January, this place worked perfectly. Gloria was extremely helpful in explaining the various options available, and the associated costs. The benefit for me was, I could bring in a preferred restaurant to serve their food. I also hired a caterer from a list she provided, that made everything work flawlessly. I also did not serve any alcohol, so that made life easier. (They have an extensive contract you best read thoroughly if you do). Communication was seamless, layout & seating charts sent to me, price list broken down into small details, no surprises. She even let us test our video equipment on their screen a few days before the event. Comfortable chairs, I rented the patio for the smokers. Plenty of room (full floor set up) for our guests. Clean restrooms. Parking was a breeze. Girls at the front desk were so polite. Note: Her City office is closed on weekends. You have to turn onto Via Positiva to get into their parking lot. (For some reason google maps has you stop at the soccer field) ??
