Took my 83 CJ in for a transmission rebuild.  Guy definitely knows his stuff, listens and provided me with a fair quote and delivered on time. I could tell extra care was taken during the rebuild, we had a flex plate issue, I found one and had it shipped to him which he took care of. I would not have known this if he just reinstalled the transmission and then later on had an issue (which would have required the transmission being pulled out and reinstalled). The old flex plate definitely had a lot of wear on the teeth, so it was a ticking time bomb so to speak.  He also noticed some play in my linkage and just took care of it.Never felt rushed, listened and a stand up guy.  For me, he's more than earned my future business.

Bob's Almaden Transmission. I wish I could give 10 stars. Bob is very knowledgeable, professional and has great customer service. He knew right away what was wrong with my suburban and took care of me in no time. He is very reasonable, and I had full trust leaving my vehicle there for the repair. I definitely recommend him, and telling all of my friends to go to him. Thank you again!

I had the auto transmission and transfer case on my Jeep Wrangler yj rebuilt by Bob and team. The cost, customer service and craftsmanship were excellent. I highly recommend their shop. They also sorted out an electrical issue I was having, as well. Thanks again!
