The Shower Pan King

The shower pan in our master bathroom leaked and destroyed our guest rooms ceiling situated right below. We really didnt want the same thing to happen and wanted the shower pan to be fixed by an expert.
Weve got quotes from several places. General contractors said they only do the whole bathroom remodeling and some of the other contractors didnt seem to have expertise in shower pan repair.
We were fortunate to find Davids service in Yelp. He suggested replacing the only first row and bottom tile. He carefully demolished the old tiles and checked if there was a dry rot or other permanent damages on the wood of the floor. He then applied new water proofing and red guard, installing the new tiles and drain. Our shower pan looks exactly like the previous one, but doesnt leak any more.
David had some waiting list and we had to wait about 1-2 months to get our turn. But we think it was totally worthwhile, as now we have a peace of mind and got this repair done in a reasonable budget.
