My husband and I just bought our first home with the help of Zaid Hanna group. We met Michael at an open house, and the short conversation we had there got us realized that we would be able to get a home we want if we work with Michael. And we were not wrong. After talking to Michael, we met with Zaid, and we were very confident that we found a perfect team to work with. Working with Michael was great. We enjoyed every moment and felt reassured having him on our back. We saw so many houses, and Michael would never say no. We were able to get the home we wanted because of his experiences and knowledge. Even after signing the offer, he was always there to talk to the seller's agent and HoA to help us figure things out. We had a wonderful experience working with my agent Mehdi Kousha and Zaid Hanna. Both of them are very knowledgeable. I met Mehdi during open house at Evergreen, San Jose almost an year ago. He has been very patient through out this year long journey. Finally, we bought a beautiful remodeled house in Fremont in December 2023. Mehdi is always above and beyond. He is like a friend who wants us to buy a good house rather than buying something because of pressure of losing bids. Mehdi guided us through this journey very patiently, explaining each and everything till closing and ready to support after closing too. He explained me how important to get underwritten pre-approval, followed up with me. He always sees the house before making an offer, made multiple trips to Milpitas and Fremont, never compromises on quality of upgrades and other minute details. We had a great experience working with Derek Duncan from the Hanna group. We met Derek in an open house. As were looking for a buyer's agent, we spoke with Derek and he understood what we wanted. We then had a chat with Zaid as well to understand the buying process and how the Hanna group works. After that we decided to go with Derek as he understood what we wanted. Derek was very patient in the whole process. It took us more than one year to buy our house. We were visiting open houses almost every weekend with Derek. Before coming to the open house Derek would research about the house and find out details like ownership, renovations etc. Often Derek would come to the house 15 minutes prior to the meeting time and would tour the house so that he could tell us better when we looked together. As we grew frustrated with the whole process, Derek would encourage us to keep looking. He was kind and gentle to point us that certain houses were not the ones that fit our criteria and we should not bid for them in a frenzy. Once we bid for a house with contingency as there was no inspection report. After the inspection report we found that we had to spend upwards of 100k to get the house to a state we liked. We decided not to pursue the house despite pressure from the seller's agent. Derek and Zaid were very supportive of this and did not pressure us in any way. Finally our bid was accepted for a house we liked. The team was super helpful in helping us close. The sent step by step instructions on what to do next. I would highly recommend Derek and the Hanna Group.

Shilpa came to us highly recommended via referral and we had a great experience especially as first time home buyers. We interviewed quite a few realtors and their references. And what really stood out for us was that they have a strategy to get you to win in the competitive bay area market which can be writing good letters or bidding correct amount or finding a good deal. Shilpa was very patient in understanding our needs and requirements. We liked that she could tell us the potential of a house and what renovations/updates we can make, and how much they would cost on average. That helped us decide faster and narrow down our choices. She also not very pushy and works with the pace of her clients. She was always available to answer any questions we had and even gave us a crash course in understanding the seller disclosures. Overall, our buying journey was extremely smooth thanks to Shilpa, Zaid and their team. Highly recommend them if you're looking for help with your home purchase.
