Nola's Iris Garden

This place is a beautiful garden to visit in April and May. One of my favorite gardens to frequent in spring next to Filoli and the Rose Garden. While the Irises are in full bloom it looks like a quilt in the sky. Not only are the flowers fascinating and full of colors, the view at the top of the mountain is breathtaking. You can take a picnic and visit with your family. Wear comfy walkable/hikable shoes and clothes you can be comfortable in. Its also great for an impromptu photo session. There are also horses, cows, chickens and turkeys for your little ones to marvel at. Nola and Gary offer many of their irises for sale online if you notice any you want for your own garden. The irises are reasonably priced and there are hundreds to choose from! When youre done and feel up for it, theres an open space preserve just a bit further up the road with a round trail with great views as well.
