Katerina is extremely talented as a negotiator and knows all the ropes of the business, how to work around the bidding and how to win it. As a first time home buyer, I was quite anxious throughout the process of buying a new home, especially in such a competitive market. Katerina was very patient and very thorough in explaining the homebuying process to me. She was very prompt and responsive to my messages and questions. She put me at ease. But of course many agents might have these qualities, but Katerina went above and beyond. Ill give 3 examples of what I think sets her apart. She had an attention to detail. I had some questions about the specifics of what an HOA cover and she went through the trouble of calling the management company (and being put on hold for quite a while) on my behalf to get to the bottom of it. On the day that we did our final walk through, we realized the previous owner had left the fridge in a very dirty/unacceptable state. She arranged with the seller for it to be cleaned. Then, after moving in, I realized that the A/C had broken. Even though we had closed she still guided me through where to look for my home warranty and how to submit a claim for it. I felt extremely well represented by Katerina, and I would highly recommend Katerina for anyone looking to purchase a home in the bay area.
