I had new insulation and a radiant barrier installed. Michael Berry was extremely knowledgeable, very friendly and helpful. If it were not for his professionalism, Id be irate. The outcome of the installation was disappointing. 1) The housings of several recessed lights were pushed down and the drywall pulled apart one of them. All the lights and dry wall will need to be repaired. Clearly defeats the purpose of “air sealing”. 2) Perhaps, to some, this is a minor detail, but I have a toddler and I had to repeatedly ask the crew to wear masks despite explaining I had a young child. 3) Parts of the radiant barrier did not completely cover the underside of the roof, which Im pretty sure makes an impact of its effectiveness. Additionally, navigating the attic is not easy for the average person, and this would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Construction on any level, I suppose, has its hiccups. But for an expensive job and to mention the crew took a 2 hour lunch, the expectation to get it right the first time is not too much to ask. The on-site manager, Sergio, was nice and helpful throughout the job. Michael reassured me everything would be fixed back to the new condition (recent remodel) it was in. However, during COVID, there a lot of opportunity costs and it's not risk free to have someone return for significant repairs. Generally, I expected better. Otherwise, the insulation and radiant barrier seem like they were installed properly.

We engaged with Attic Bros about 2 years back to get rid of mice in the attic. While the staff is generally very nice, the mice keep coming back, and we felt we were dismissed when we asked for extra help... It took quite a few visits before Vic came for the first time, and he really was thorough in checking entry points. He found a few potential entry points in the crawl space that no one had checked before. Also, he was the first one that finally came inside the house to check different spots - and patch them - where the mice could have come inside the living area. If not for Vic, this review would have been 2 star max, because we were getting very frustrated that we would have to call Attic Bros every 3 months. Hopefully this is the last time and we would be able to live mice free. So far so good. Thanks Vic and his crew this time for really spending the time to make it right.
