        Visiting Angels were a lifesaver for me when my mom needed a visitor while I was working. She was more than a caregiver to my mom. She was a friend to my mom and me.  She told me how the day went, fun activities she did with my mom such as playing cards, talking and making her laugh, and walking in the neighborhood. The caregiver was there on weekdays and my mom was also looking for her on the weekends. What I loved the most is the caregiver never made my mom feel like she Needed help.  She was a friendly person who loved what she was doing and was never negative, but instead pleasant and presented herself as a friend, not emphazising being a caregiver.
