Good school.                        Highly recommended. It's just a good school near some food and yes I do recommend it I don't think you should go to Gunderson this is the better school

This school is full of racism, sexism, and all of the bad things you don't want to associate yourself with. The teachers and staff do not care or value you as a living and breathing human being with feelings. They also respect and are less harsh on the male students. And over all the school is dirty filled with bad energy!

If you wanna guarantee the administration is gonna try and fuck your kids, SEND THEM HERE! what an awful school. It's a shame, I've met very few amazing teaches there. Unfortunately, this piece of shit school dragged each of them down.

If you compared one of my local high schools to this one, then it's pretty much the same thing. Even though I never went here, this is one of the schools in the county with the highest dropout rates. This school is always full of student politics and drama. I only went here as a visitor because back in the day I have to work nearby and boy it's just as terrible as the other PHS. Full of teachers who have no respect for the students just the money they make. During my time actually commuting to work back in the day, just stepping foot in this school is downright appalling. Although the four year college acceptance rate is better than my local high school, the environment, curriculum and attitude of teachers is still very bad. I normally think SJUSD does a good job of monitoring schools but not this one.

I went to this school for all four years of high school and I highly would not recommend it to anyone. Our campus was constantly dirty with trash everywhere. The bathrooms never had more than one working sink (which barely worked at all) and yet the school had money to tint the office windows.Most teachers were fine but few were exceptional. One teacher I had senior year was constantly bothered by my attire. I never dressed in a way that violated the dress code, however she would frequently stop class in order to address my outfit. Highly unprofessional and taking learning time away from her students. It was also unnecessary to humiliate me in front of the class when she could have discussed it with me privately. Additionally when I attempted to let my principal know about this issue and asked him to speak to the teacher about it, he ignored me. Yes, a student came to him with a concern that was impeding the learning of students and he ignored it. Yet he was always on a high horse claiming to care about students.I'm convinced that the school must exclusively hire pedophiles, seeing as we had three of them arrested in three years.
