Louie & Kitsuse Law Offices

After doing research Louie and Kitsuse came to be my number 1 pick for a case I need support with. I called the law office seeking assistance but kept getting sent to Matilda's voice mail. I've been attempting to talk to someone at this office for 3 weeks now and can't get a hold of anyone. Very discouraging and unprofessional.

I found them on my legal plan network, but learned that later if you are going to meet him through legal plans, they will deny your case. I was trying to schedule an initial consultation, they emailed back and asked for my legal plan information because I mentioned it in my inquiry. After I gave them the information, the assistant responded that Mr. Louie said he is retiring soon and no longer taking new cases. Two questions to think about:1. Why did they even ask for my legal plan information if Mr. Louie is no longer taking new cases because of retirement? Retirement is a planned event, it doesn't happen only after clients give you their insurance info. I think he just doesn't want to deal with the contract restrictions of my legal plan.2. Their website says they are a team of attorneys, and my search result shows Mr. Louie is not the only one familiar with the area of my case.  Where are the other attorneys? Is the firm going to close down because no one can take Mr. Louie place after he retires?I should have read Mr. T's comment about this attorney's issue with legal plan clients and saved my time contacting them.

This was years ago.  I had a legal plan that would cover a certain number of hours of the attorney.  However, Calvin Louie intimidated me into not telling the legal plan about my engagement with him, as he would make a lower rate.I was so afraid of him (at that time), since my case was close to settlement and I didn't want him to sabotage it, that I never reported this to the legal plan.  I sucked up the higher fees, and paid him $1100 more than I was meant to under the terms of the legal plan.    Calvin Louie should not be on these legal plans if he then tells clients that he doesn't want to comply to the guidelines and agreed rates of these legal plans.  He uses those legal plans to source clients, but wants his full hourly rate rather than what the legal plan guarantees.  He then left the network of that legal plan, so I could not report him.  He went to another legal plan network, where he can start the same shady practice again.  If you meet this attorney through a legal plan, get written confirmation upfront that the terms of the legal plan through which Mr. Louie met you will be honored in full.I am anonymous because as an attorney, he obviously can threaten people who write poor reviews (however accurate they may be).
