We have been receiving services at DLS for 2 years. Our daughter has very complicated learning differences that have stumped her teachers. DLS has found strategies that have been effective in her learning, they have advocated for her with the school district, they have partnered with her teachers at school, and they are helping her learn to identify her own needs and advocate for herself. They are indispensable team members. They are also very kind and positive, as well as highly trained and skilled. We are so grateful we found them!

After a year of regular visits, we saw no progress. Nice people but the results arent there. Very disappointed.

My son has greatly benefited from working with his Educational Therapist here at DLS to become more organized, develop his Executive Functioning Skills and be more independent as he approaches the transition to college. Case management support for me as I navigate my son's school and College Board accommodations has been very helpful also. DLS staff are passionate about helping their clients including advocating for student accommodations at school. Happy to have this great local center for Educational Therapy. They are also now offering Occupational Therapy, with their recent addition of Anne Brownstone, OT.

We were referred to DLS because my son was diagnosed with ADHD. When I described my son's behavior, the receptionist told me that I was describing their founder, John Fleming when he was a child. Even though we must drive 45 minutes to SJ almost weekly, my son has grown  immensely from the exercises provided and one on one time my son receives there. I continue to learn how to better understand and work with my son on every visit. We have been going to DLS for almost 2 years. My son is 11 years old and I anticipate continuing to visit DLS throughout his school years.
