Yes they did an implant on number 19 in 2012. I was offended by an electronic photo album they had on the front desk. It had pictures of the doctors on their sailboat, living the good life that their patients' money brought them. Bit insensitive.

I've been seeing Dr. Dennis Calvert for several years now. It started when I needed a thorough cleaning, which his hygienist performed capably and cheerfully and at a very competitive price. When I needed periodontal surgery I went back. Multiple times now. As one measure of Dr. Calvert's skill I have never had serious pain following one of his operations. I also like his tell-it-like-it-is communication style.

I'll tell you what, after 2 weeks of non-stop tooth pain, playing phone tag with my incompetent general dentist, and running into all these periodontist crooks who want $250 consults just to give you a price, I was ready to pull my own tooth out with some pliers. Dr. Calvert is a refreshing breath of fresh air. Not only does he take a good amount of his time explaining the procedure, and the current state of my tooth, his front desk staff were also equally detailed and thorough in explaining the price $$$. They did a CT scan, exam, and consultation for no charge (not even to my insurance). He also gave me a prescription for an antibiotic, which either by good grace of the placebo effect or pure science, got rid of my pain in a day! Mind you I have not paid them a dime yet, and to get this kind of treatment and professionalism, Calvert & Calvert now has a patient for life. Hopefully I don't have to pull any teeth for a while after this though...

The younger Dennis Calvert and his staff put all of my fears of going to the dentist to rest.  I had a revision on a filling placed over 20 years ago.  He was so patient with me and I was in and out in a half hour. As far as dentists go, it was an incredible experience!
