I phoned for a sidewalk repair received estimate next morning. I phone them back received date they could start. Only thing I can complain about is that the day they were suppose to start they never showed up. I had to get a hold of them to find out they'd be starting later due to rain that set them back. Otherwise great company did job in timely matter took care of everything with the city and sidewalk looks great. Service: Concrete repairs

My 2 neighbors and I received a total of 4 quotes to repair the City of San Jose's sidewalks in front of our homes. Valley was the second to lowest price but the lowest priced company was not being very responsive to us so we decided to go with Valley. When we mentioned that another estimate was lower, they matched the price and got the work completed in a timely manner. No complaints from any of us.

We received repair notice from San Jose trees and sidewalk office, to perform concrete sidewalk grinds. We sent out a few requests in Yelp. Valley Concrete responded quickly w/ competitive quote. Carmen has been very responsive, explains the process and said she will send notice to city for inspection to city after the job is done and guarantee the pass.  There are 9 places to be fixed, the worker showed up twice. In the first time,  machine broke down so they have to wait a few days for the part. After ~ 1 month the job was done, after about another month received the letter from city that the repair passed inspection.

I highly recommend Valley Concrete! They did an awesome job on my patio replacement with added yardage. I just was outside in my backyard and was thinking this looks beautiful, so I decided to write what a wonderful job they did. Starting with Matthew who did the estimate. He was a pleasure to work with and had a lot of patience. I called to ask him to come back out  a few times because I kept changing my ideas. Additional measurements needed to be done. One thing keep in mind if you are happy with the estimate call to get on the schedule because they truly are booked out a month. I didn't believe it until I experienced it. Carmen was so very helpful with scheduling and the deposit. She is very understanding, nice to talk to really thoughtful and kind. The demolition crew were very efficient, clean organized, and meticulous. Jesus does a great job with his crew. The pour crew, was just as organized and they too were very hard workers. Everything went smooth and fast because they indeed have a very meticulous and caring supervisor Juan who over look the job. If something wasn't right, he was right there to fix the problem and he did an awesome, awesome job! I must say it may be a wait to have your job started ( believe me its worth the wait, price and workmanship is great with no worries or hassle ) It goes fast once its starts. Thank You to all at Valley Concrete for a wonderful job and the care you took of my house and me, making sure all my needs were met. I definitely recommend Valley Concrete, you won't be disappointed.

If you get the dreaded bright green neon spray paint on the sidewalk in front of your house from the city of San Jose sidewalk division, I highly recommend working with Valley Concrete for your repairs! We reached out to the recommended vendors, because there was no way I was going to pay the city's quote, which was outrageous. Valley Concrete's quote was fast, easy to get through email, and more affordable than their major competitor (like, hundreds of dollars cheaper).Carmen was great to work with. When we had a snag with waiting for the arborist and our sidewalk was not filled for a few extra days, Carmen was really responsive by phone and email. I highly recommend working with her. The crew did a great, efficient job, carefully going around some larger roots (because we do want to preserve the life of our trees) and patching some dirt that was removed from our lawn. No one thinks to save for sidewalk replacement and it's an unfortunate aspect of being a homeowner in San Jose. Now that I've replaced over 200 sq. ft. of sidewalk (and fully intend on taking it with me when I move-- I am the petty B who will remove that sidewalk because I paid for it!), I definitely would recommend Valley to anyone who has to replace sidewalk! Pro tip: put away $150 a month for sidewalk repairs!
